Concept Art With Photoshop - Weapons
This concept art tutorial will show one method of creating a prop illustration in Photoshop. We will begin by creating a flat silhouette of the object in black. Then by using a combination of gradients and clipping masks to establish lighting and values, we will flesh out the silhouette into a rendered weapon. After the object is rendered in grayscale we will show methods of adding color, and tips for creating artificial lights.
A brief introduction of what techniques and skills are needed to create stunning concept art in Photoshop.
