Hey guys, I've been on here for a while now and figured I should get involved with the community a little more! I hope to learn a lot from here!

Hey Unity people. I have decided that I am going to sell my project on which I have been working on for 1.5 months. If you are interested in purchasing exclusive rights, please head over to http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/127252-Project-Mecha-Buy-Exclusive-Rights-Money-to-be-made!

Hey acsam, you will be way better off creating detailed buildings (especially interiors) using a 3d program such as Softimage (like you mention) or Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, etc.. You will be able to do much more and Unity will auto update the meshes in your project once you update or re-export them from your content program.

what do you guy think is the best program to make buildings? Should I Use Unity it self to make builds both the inside and out of that building, or should use XSI and then import the model into Unity.

ok i been taking the Unity training videos, and i have to say so far it REALLY easy to use. Love how the guys at Unity pre-program the software where to a lot of the effects are just a click and drag and drop away. im so happy with Unity that i might actually buy Unity Pro when i get the cash.
A new Unity 3.5 tutorial focusing on C# scripting has been released on design3. Check it out here:
https://www.design3.com/training-center/engines-sdks/unity/coding/adding-interactivity
What is the main thing that makes a game different from a movie, a song, or a picture? It's the ability for the user to interact with, control, and affect the elements within the game. Interactivity is crucial to game design and in this training module we'll show you how to add interactivity by using C# programming within Unity. You'll learn how to use scripts, variables, functions, user inputs, and more in order to make your games come alive.
