Our History
In July 2010 we launched design3.com to offer a more up-to-date, convenient, and affordable option for our game makers. We’ve evolved over the years adding a lot more game development software platforms and tools, and adding resources to help game developers find employment as well as keep up to date with industry news. New video tutorials are uploaded on a weekly basis, keeping you up to date with current game development technologies. We also offer exclusive specials for academic institutions, corporate purchases and government contractors.
Noesis Interactive was founded in 2006 as a training company dedicated to teaching "modding" as an avenue into professional game development. As the rate of successful small team and studio opportunities began to increase dramatically, fueled by social/mobile gaming trends and the increasing availability of quality middleware tools with favorable licensing terms, Noesis began to evolve. The high quality DVD based tutorials and training sessions became the foundation for design3’s award-winning streaming game & app development library. We love Noesis!

Not a healthy career plan. So, he asked his programmer father how Pong was made and learned to do it. After his BS in Mathematics Mike finds himself in DC creating software for NASA. Decades of programming later, with another degree in Computer Science MS and Computer Vision ABD, he decided to slack off for a while, and founded coloradogamecoders.com, where he's back programming games.

Now creating awesome games at Obsidian Entertainment, Antonio is an original Noesis Interactive co-founder.
David Hickson
Modeler & Texture Artist
Some people claim that David Hickson's ability to draw stems from the fact that he was born with a pencil in his hand (a fact his mother strongly denied. She would know wouldn't she?). What is factual, is that he has spent most of his professional life hiding his passion as a Fine Artist behind his Graphic Design degree. It wasn't until he was laid off in 2008 from his 8-5 job, that he finally found a way to merge these two worlds with Blender (fitting name isn't it?). After becoming a Blender Foundation Certified Trainer, David got hired as a modeling and texturing artist for a Simulation company located in Southern New England. He has also turned his gift of talking to himself while he works, into a career of teaching others.David has also formed a Cyber-Studio Team called Blenducation to create an animated short called Man-I-Can which is set for release at the end of 2011. We wish him the best of luck.
Tom Kraky
Freelance Artist / Illustrator
Prior to becoming a nocturnal freelance artist, Tom studied Painting and Illustration at Marywood University. During this time he spent four months studying High Renaissance Painting and Sculpture in Florence, Italy. This experience gave him the power to bullseye womp rats in his T-16 back home. He focuses his time on Concept Art, Illustration, as well as both Classical and Digital Painting. His skin does not glitter in the sun.
Tom Mooney
3D Artist / Educator
Tom lives in Kuala Lumpur, and teaches 3ds Max and design as senior lecturer at Raffles International College. He trains artists for the game industry and also trains alts in EVE. He is currently shored up in a C4 POS, admiring nebulae. He has worked as a games artist and as a broadcast CG generalist. He participates, or at least asks questions, in the UDK forum as tomacmuni, and is happy to be shown how to do things. Tom grew up in New Zealand and hopes to have enough money to escape back there when the end of the world comes.
Matt Robbins
Programmer
Since finishing his programming degree at the end of 2010, Matt has briefly worked for a few games studios across Melbourne. His last stint was at Current Circus, a Depth-Camera based games studio, which created something close to an obsession for the Kinect and Motion Controlled games. He really loves programming. He loves it so much that when coding, he enters a mystical zen-state known only as the "Coder Bubble". The NIUI API (which integrates the Kinect into UDK) is rumoured to have been born there.
Alex Damarjian
Art Director / Professor
Alex Damarjian has worked in the game industry for over seven years. His art has been featured in many games for such amazing companies as High Voltage Software, Midway , Marvel , Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network.
